| | OK, I finally tried these glasses on a computer with XP. So I finally saw stereo on these glasses for the first time. I must say, it is much better than red/cyan anaglyph glasses. Much better colour, brightness, and without any ghosting (well, not the stereo kind of ghosting). I set the stereo effect all the way up to 100% (instead of the standard 30%) without any problems merging the two images. The only real problem is, that on that computer I have to physically unplug the CRT monitor. Also, CRT monitors are almost unusable on 60Hz, but I MUST leave the CRT monitor on 60Hz or when I plug in the glasses it will just be black. |

| | One thing I forgot to add... With the nvidia stereo driver, the glasses stay in 3D mode after you exit a 3D application. That only really affects the mouse cursor, which looks weird in 3D mode. You need to switch 3D mode off manually from the onscreen menu. |

| | Cool, I was wondering how the stereo drivers would affect the look of games. It sounds like it's worth it! I'm looking forward to when i get the time for throwing in XP 32bit instead of the 64bit I got now, so I can see the full potential of VR920. I'm wondering why it's like Nvidia stopped doing stereo drivers after 91.73? Why is that? If a 7xxx card supports 3d stereo, it can't be that hard to support 8xxx?

| | There are stereo drivers after 91.73. Look at www.mtbs3d.com. There are versions up to 162 there. But they don't support Vista yet. |

| Yea i've noticed that, but is that a official nvidia release, because I can't seem to find it on nvidia.com???
I'm on windows xp 64 bit, not vista. It doesn't support that either
Seems like nvidia got stuck in the "stoneage"

| There is another post that explained how to change the registry so that you could enable the stereo option through the Display Properties. I performed this last night and it worked great! I tried the stereo in Quake 4 and Half Life 2 Episode One with Mouse GlovePIE YP active. The detail was more than what I had expected, far more than what I got from my VFX1. The head tracking added quite a bit of realism to the game. I'll be checking other games this weekend.
