I received my vr 920 yesterday. It was purchased specifically for playing aces high II. I've always thought of myself as reasonably intelligent but now I'm starting to wonder. The display works fine except for no head tracking and no 3d. I opened the monitor program and it showed aces high II as one of my games, so my question is how do I get the bloody tracking and the 3d to work. Please.........help.......anybody

On the vuzix monitor, have you enabled the game? You got 2 lists, one is for installed compatible games, the other one is for enabled games, so you should select Aces High2 and enable it.
After that, launch the game and follow this infos, taken from the vuzix monitor help:

2. Run Aces High 2 as normal. To enable smooth tracking, set the Directional View
mode to Panning (F8 by default).

3. To adjust tracking settings, in the game go to Options->Controls->Map Controllers,
and select the VR920 Head Tracker controller. To enable and disable tracking, press "Ctrl-F7"

also, usually enabling and disabling of stereo3d is controlled by "Ctrl-F8" but i'm not sure this is true also for aces high...
HTH a bit at least

EDIT the forum has interpreted the things between < as html i guess and removed them....

Hi Davide

Does the monitor show a error message in the bottom?
What if you press Ctrl+F7 ?
Any logs on a txt file reporting problems?

bedfordia,

Do you have Aces High 2 installed to a default directory?

Can you verify that the files D3D9.dll, Dinput8.dll and vr920headtracker.jsm are present in the Aces High 2 settings directory?

If so, and the issue is still not resolved then please feel free to contact me using the information in my signature.
