| | With CES 2010 just a couple of days away, there doesn't seem to be any vibe about new products from Vuzix, eg the rumored 1440. At this time last year there was plenty of buzz before the event, and all google searches for "vuzix + CES" yield last year's event, wrap 920 etc. |

| | Does anyone have a clue of the answer to this? I was thinking of getting the VR920, but I'd be pretty upset if there's a new product just a couple of months away. They have surely been working on SOMETHING since the essential VR920 was released (other than minor upgrades, I mean) |

| The Wrap 920/310 just came out not even a few months ago. I seriously doubt any new headsets are coming out any time soon. If you want the VR920 just get one.

| I probably will, though I wish it had a more immersive screen spec.
I would want to use it predominantly for Flight Simulator 2004, and my graphic adapter is "NVidia GEForce 7300 SE / 7200 GS."
Is this definitely compatible with the unit? |

| yes they did show them. What you get is a pair of glasses with 2 opaque screens and a couple of stereo webcam in front of each eye to render the real world in 3d. Thus they are good for augmented reality (AR920 is for augmented reality i guess).
You can search for some review on youtube or washington post (not sure...)
I've seen they seems to have also some exposed circuitry, that is not good at all, but maybe the CES version was a early prototype? |
