| | When I set up the headset it doesnt feel at all immersive - in fcat it feels as if I am looking at a very small screen from some distance - far smaller than sitting looking at my 15" monitor - Is this right did I misunderstand the 62" screen at 9 feet which felt as if it should be much more immersive to look at All help much appreciated David |

| Are you talking about VR920?
It actually looks similar to size of my 22" monitor when I'm sitting in front of it, maybe a little smaller (like 21" monitor I suggest).
However I believe that focus distance for eyes to virtual screen is like 9 feet.
62" screen from 9 feet, gives you about 32 degree of Field Of View, it's not immersive by itself, but with head-tracking & stereo it does immerse.
Try it with Crysis, I'm absolutely hooked up by this game in VR920, if you will need any help in setup, you can ask me. |
