| | Hello, I saw these on the gadget show, last night, they look okay, BUT so did the 2 pairs of MYVU video glasses I bought, which turned out to be useless The MYVU are not that good, I have tried them in various places, but with very poor results ARE these any better ? I've read various reviews about them, but I am still sceptible about spending another couple of hundred quid on something that will end up in a draw (like the 2 pairs of MYVU's) I'd like to get a few comments from people who own any of the products on offer I'll probably use them for watching films on an Ipod touch, maybe use them on a games console (not really sure about this yet though) I could see them being used on aircraft, on a beach, by the pool, in bright sunlight, complete darkness, the kids would use them in the car The MYVU were completely useless for any of these applications and haven't been used since they were tried the once and have been consigned to the draw (probably end up on ebay) So any views/recommmendations would be appreciated (and is there anywhere I could try them out BEFORE I spend out even more cash ?) |

| | I checked the MYVU spec. and it does not look bad. Can you be more specific of what exactly you do not like about your MYVUs ? Also, what Vuzix model you are asking about ? |

| | thanks for your reply Any of them really, but any that can be used for an ipod, games consoles I have the higher end MyVu's, so I guess something simular The MyVu say its like watching a 50 inch screen, I know its not, I have a 60inch screen and I know what it is like, I think the MyVu are pretty hopeless I have both MyVu, the high end Amber and the low end, (cant remember the name of them,) but both are useless in daylight |

| Well, the product is definitely not anything like star-trek virtual reality (yet). On the other hand it IS usable in daylight (you can buy additional light shield). I would recommend you to look around on this forum, there are already plenty of reviews here. E.g. start with those:

Be aware that VR920 is for use with computer with VGA output and USB connections only. The AVxxx models are designed for use with audio video devices. |
