There are some cracks apearing on the HMD case on both sides like in the picture.
I never dropped the vr920 on the floor or stepped on them or anything like that. I'm allways verry gentile. I bought the vr920 2 months ago.

Is it the heat? or is the plastic that bad?did it happend to you?

No, I see it for the first time 0_0,
I had 3 VR920's, 2 on my work and one at home (for 9-10 month). Now I use only one of them (at home) but I never ever saw the problem like this...
Maybe not you, maybe someone else dropped them?

P.S. Does this unit still functional?
P.S.2. Still possible that this is a heat problem...

As far as I know, heat would not crack a plastic casing like in your picture.  Perhaps cause a dimple or blister.  My experience is that this type of plastic cracks easily (brittle) under moderate pressure/stress, though it could be weakened even futher by the heat generated during use and cracked during forceful adjustments of tilting upwards.
