| Will the transparency control for the Wrap be only for overall transparency or can it be programmed to use stenciling (like alphas defining which sections are transparent and the degree of transparency at each pixel).. so you can have objects appear/overlay only where you want them to.
This would greatly help the Augmented Reality. For one.. you would not need to use the stereo camera pair if this worked (unless you were trying to record your experience).. while allowing for background resolutions of (whatever your eyes are capabale of instead of the cameras!). |

| Agreed. This would make a lot of really cool stuff possieble, such as a see-through transparent desktop. I want to know as well. |

| | There's certainly nothing in any of the advance marketing stuff for the Wrap about it having selective occlusion, stenciling, or whatever you want to call a capability for blocking portions of the outside world without blocking all of it. So the odds are it'll be sometime after the Wrap hits the shelves before stenciling show up in a consumer-level product. |
