| | I sometimes use my VR920, but not all the times... and the plugs are not very easy to reach since my video card's output is at the back of my pc. I want to preserve my VR920, I want it to last, so I unplug it... but it is a pain... If there was a small on/off switch on the helmet it would be way cooler!! No? ;-) |

| Alopex,
Leaving the VR920 plugged in and powered on will not harm it.
I understand what you are saying however and what some users have done, myself included, is to simply use a USB extension cable between the VR920's USB connector and your computer. By enabling easy access to the connection you can easily cut the power to the VR920 by unplugging its USB. |

| | Ok, maybe it doesn't harm it, but nonetheless the google is getting quite hot. Hot means Plugging and unplugging the usb is a bit of a pain: both VGA and usb cables are linked together: the vga cable is at the back of my pc, so I use the usb plug at the back too. What's more, I'm not sure, but i believe that plugging, unplugging isn't that good for the plug. It's not on my bug list, but still on my wish list ;-) |

| | It wouldn't shortent the life of the LCD's but it technically, it would shorten the back light's life. A physical switch shouldn't be required... you'd think they could do it in software... |
