| | I'm sure not everyone has the same distance between eyes... ;-) Personaly, I'm using only one eye, but even so, I ve had a hard time positionning my eye at the right place in front of the screen. I wonder how "normal" people manage... I've noticed that depending how I put my glasses, I can read or not what is on the screen... but this adjustment is very tricky. I've also noticed that depending how close my eye is from the screen, I see all the corners or not... |

| | I just got my VR920 and I have had a similar problem. It usually takes me a couple of minutes to get everything adjusted to it's somewhat comfortable and I am able to clearly see 90% of the screen. Perhaps if the eyepiece viewfinder was larger this would not be as common of an issue. |

| | My eye separation is not Vuzix friendly. I liked the idea of the glasses well enough so I fooled around quite a bit finding a solution. My totally non-elegant solution was to take an old, sturdy baseball cap, drill some holes in the visor, and suspend the 920 from it. My final adjustment holds the glasses maybe 1/2" or 3/4" further from my eyes than the nosepieces allowed (without pain), and this works OK for me. I can see the whole screen with both eyes, and I can wear the arrangement for a long time without any discomfort. I'm sure non-elegant is an understatement for this mess, but note that there is an additional obvious advantage when I'm using them outside on a bright day. I figure I must not be the first to do this, but I don't have a history here, so if it's a repeat please forgive... |
