It is dead, no light at all. What is OSD?

OSD = On Screen Display (a small column of green symbols on the screen). It can be accessed by pressing the wheel on the lower side of the unit for more than 3 seconds and should work with the power input via USB alone. If that does not work on any PC, you have got a serious problem.

Depending on where you live, sending the unit to vuzix for repair will not be too expensive. I suggest that you contact Todd Ferguson from the support. You still can decide after that if you will try to repair it yourself. In that case, first thing would be checking the cable with a circuit tester (disassembling the unit is no big deal as long as you treat the cables and plugs very carefully).

Good Luck!

Thanks to everyone!

VR920 seems trashed, getting no power. Talked to Todd with tech support and even though there's no warranty they will repair it for a reasonable fee. So I'm boxing it up tomorrow and sending it in.

Let this be a lesson for everyone wanting to save a few bucks by buying on Ebay etc.

I should have just bit the bullet and bought new from Vuzix.

That's good news. Hope you'll get it back soon - still got issues with mine.
