| | It's a real bitch to calibrate the vr920 correctly.. especially the jaw... Would it be possible to be able to calibrate a specific axis? And maybe a bit different calibration methods like stepwise with images in which you need to look: and press a button everytime a position is held.. this should also give a good calibration (propably even better as with the current method) step 1: set zero point step 2: look left step 3: look right step 4: look up step 5: look down step 6: roll left step 7: roll right
And between every step, set zeropoint.. a cool calibrationtool would be ofcourse to have it all in 3d(view) with spoken commands and let you look in specified directions.. hmm.. maybe I'll just try to see if I can do anything with the SDK.. |

| | I dont think having points to look at would help , setting single axis calibration i think would be good , so u can calibrate yaw without the other 2 axis's being tracked. also u are not ment to wear the vr920 when calibrating are u? |

| | No, the manual states that you should hold the thing in your hand.. But having the other calibration process would IMHO be a better way of calibrating the vizor, as it goes through all the possible positions the wearer can use, also it would make it easier for the software to actually really tell what heading/valuerange is a specific heading.. But maybe it's not even possible to calibrate a singel axis on the chip, but the software should be able to handle it.. |

| | Would be nice to have +\- for calibrating purposes. Only thing calibrating retrieves i guess is vector of magnetic field, so this should be only 3 items to change. Still i found headtracking unsatisfying, i can use in only with smoothing tool - glovepie with smooth command. This makes head turning nice, but gives about 0.5 second lag between head rotation and tracking position. Maybe add smoothlike thinga in drivers? |

| | How about remembering the calibration? ;-) You'd do it once, and forget about it... |
