I just bought Half Life II but the IWearMonitor program does not show my new game as installed, even though I tried to install it several times. I did put the requested tracking files in the directories but it still does not come up. However, I did have to create the "addons" folder in the "hl2mp" folder.

Any suggestions?

Not a help to you right now, but I keep checking back to this website that did a review of the VR920 and had a problem with HL2 also.

I check back just to see if they worked the problem out and what they think about playing HL2 with the VR920.

If you get this fixed post your thoughts....Thanks

Here is the link, look under the heading "CONFIGURATION"  to see the HL2 problem he was having.

Half Life 2 episode One,Counter Strike Source and HL² DM work fine with a manual installation.(game not detected in the iwear monitor)
HL2 and TF2 don't work.

I was the one that noticed this issue first, as you've probably read in my review. I sorta gave up on getting it work after a couple of days of trying. Icuiti did help me out a bit in troubleshooting, but I still couldn't get it working properly. In my case the issue was that I manually moved the Steam installation folder (prior to installing the VR920 software) and the registry keys still pointed to the original location. I believe the VR920 software bases its search on the uninstall registry key, which is many times incorrect. There was also apparently a bug with the original software, so make sure to get the latest version. If I find a fix I will be sure to post it ASAP.

I also can't seem to get HL2DM or Counterstrike: Source to recognize any headtracking. I installed the 1.06 VR920 drivers from here and I can get the game running through the VR920 but no head tracking.

I tried to add the game through the iWear monitor but it tells me that the games are not installed (Generic Error).
I tried doing the manual setup for adding the head tracking following the info in the iWear monitor but the directions do not correlate with the default paths for the games. For example I do not have an hl2mp or addon directory anywhere in the directory. (I tried manually creating the hl2mp and addon directories in the CS:S directory but that did not seem to work either. I tried using the console in CS:S to use the IWR_modechange (or IWR_changemode, I forget) command but the command was not recognized.

This is a fresh install of Steam+HL2+HL2: Episode 1+CS:S using the defaults for everything but no matter what the iWear monitor says none of the software is installed.

I tried using Carl's GlovePIE (which is awesome) and enabled the VR920 mouse emulation and that works if I leave it running when I load the games but the tracking motion is not very fluid. The documentation says the VR920 supports HL2 multiplayer and CS:S out of the box but I can't seem to get it working. Any tips would be appreciated.

Sorry for the long post...
