| I´ve just purchased a four channel R/C little helicopter with wireless camera+microphone; next i will get an Efika PowerPC. the size of a travel book, with integrated sound and graphics etc, hack a battery for it; maybe solar power, and feed the sound and video of the mini copter to the wearable thingy.

| Update; this is going to be a long process mostly because i haven't got many spare time for training my R/C copter flying abilities, i am completely "minded" to learn this art^(it takes some serious ninja relaxed muscles to maintain this things stable while being continuously alert for reacting instantly to every tilt the device decides to start xDDD )
It is not far from clear that, this one is going to be the helicopter that reaches the completion of the project judging by accidents per minute of use that is undergoing; amazingly has not yet suffered any noticeable damage yet but, i think this Blue Thunder 'is going to remain a long time plus on development stage xD
Cheers! |

| ahoy! ive thought about doing this aswell! Currently i own the Blade cp pro helicopter ( i can fly it pretty good!). it takes some getting use to because constantly adjusting against the wind. If you have a good transmitter and reciever for the cam it will be amazing. ive seen videos on youtube of heli flight .. AMAZING!!!if u wear the VR at the same time its like you are really flying it! I think various military and robotics companies use a VR + heli for surveillance. could even make a job out of it lol!!! that is, if you are a good enough pilot!

| You are correct; but don´t be ofuscated with this technological terror you have build. For that the power of surveilling an entire area is nothing compared to the power of the Force |

| If you're putting processing power on the bird, you could possibly put some code in there, and an accelerometer, to stabilize the thing until YOU tell it to move.
Might also be nice if you coded it to fly back to the last known connection, by backtracking its path, or some command to land on low battery warning.
I guess I shouldn't speak, as I'm not planning on doing this myself any time soon, but the suggestions were there on the top of my mind. |

| | i had planned to do this , i was going to use the pctx which allows u to control the helicopter from a usb joystick connected to your pc. but sadly i crashed into the letter box and the spare parts i got didnt fit my helicopter so i gave up. i have the camera and all the stuff sitting around till i can think of wat to do with them. hmmm maybe a land uav. did u see that video on youtube of the guy using a hmd to control the pan and tilt of the camera on his rc plane :O its amazing , he even made a battery meter and altimeter which he veiws through the camera. |
