I have tried a number of options within rFactor and the video is VERY jittery making the game unplayable.  Has anyone seen this problem....and has anyone solved it.

Before you ask...Yes running 1.1 with Firmware update...title is recognized and Enabled and Ready.

Yeah I have the same problem. The game is really awesome with the stereoscopic effect and the head tracking, but there really needs to be some kind of filter applied to the tracking. Perhaps Karl could look into that and get his nice Assault Cube filter working in rFactor too. Or perhaps someone at Vuzix could send me the sources for the rFactor plugin, then I'd take a look at it and if it works I'll send back the modified sources.

Just wanted to say, that I used the last few hours to implement my own version of the rFactor plugin with a filtering algorithm. No jittering anymore, smooth and fast movement and you can finally turn your head all the way around, without being pulled back if you hit the 180° limit. I'm now tweaking the filters for each axis and will change some things, to follow the rules that vuzix mentions in their SDK. Will probably upload the final plugin by tomorrow.

Hello driving simulation fans!
The first version if my tracking plugin for rFactor is now available here, and I'm very happy with the results it gives when the VR920 is properly calibrated. There is still some tweaking needed for the filter settings, but you can do that yourself by modifying the IwearTracker.cfg file if you don't like it as it is now. You can also assign separate special settings for every vehicle in rFactor if you need better response or more filtering for it. It's also possible to disable the separate axes if you don't need them. Samples for doing that are commented in the cfg file.

The calibration is zeroed everytime you step into the vehicle, so be sure to look straight forward when you are in the pits. That way you don't need to switch to the calibrator when your view origin is off.

Download it here (but read the above text if you skipped this)

To install it you just have to put the dll and cfg file into the rFactor/plugins directory and rename the official IWRFactor.dll to IWRFactor.dll.bak, or something else. It's important, that the official tracking plugin does not have the .dll file extension, otherwise they both will conflict.

So I hope you have fun with it now. If you have any additional questions or suggestions for the plugin feel free to drop me a line.
